Her Personal Side:
I am a mom of three, wife, daughter, sister, and advocate for everyone I get to know at a deep level. Between work and watching my kids grow, I still make time to work in my garden, read, exercise, and connect with others. My family enjoys summers on Lake Michigan or at our cottage on Big Star Lake. Winters are spent on the many ski hills in the state. We make the most of every season and can be found outdoors most of the time.
Something you should know:
I started my career in logistics after pivoting from Sports Medicine. After four years in automotive, I moved to a logistics software company and my interest in software grew quickly. I spent 10 years in the logistics software industry before moving to SpinDance where I took my product knowledge and built a delivery structure within the software services space. If you would have told me over 20 years ago that I would be working in software, I would have laughed.
Most People Don't Know:
I have been fly fishing on the Pere Marquette River since the age of 15. I love putting on my waders and enjoying the peace that comes with sitting on the river bank. My favorite season is when the salmon are running. The fish can take up to 30 minutes to catch and many weigh over 20 pounds. This activity makes me feel the most grounded and connected to the earth and nature.
Words of Wisdom:
Human connection powers everything. No one person holds the ability to do all things. It is in the connection and sharing of knowledge amongst a community that we find the real magic.
