Join us for "Smooth Landings: Job Search Success Stories" during the January 9, 6 p.m. Women on the Move meeting at Brightwing in Troy. Get inspired with the tales of three InForum members who tapped into our network for support and connections as they found their next jobs. Two were in career transition and one chose to make a transition after a two-decades with a major auto manufacturer. Bring your questions for the panel members:

Kristin Kolodge, Executive Director, Driver Interaction and HMI, JD Power

Kristin took a major step away the safety she had always known at Chrysler where she was recruited as an engineer out of college. She decided to take the InForum Executive Leadership course and attended InForum Women on the Move meetings. This gave her the push she needed to take the leap to become executive director for Driver Interaction and HMI Global Automotive at J.D. Power, which was a much better fit for her.

Meghan Kruslemsky, Manager, Account Management, KPMG LLP

InForum has been a key part of not one, but TWO job transitions for Meghan. Her very first InForum meeting upon returning to Michigan in 2014 resulted in an immediate connection and a new job. When she found herself in transition again, she turned immediately to InForum, attending multiple events and affinity groups including Women on the Move. A Downtown affinity group meeting hosted at KPMG led to the role she has there now.

Heather Harrold, Marketing Director, OHM Advisors

Heather started looking for her next position networking at InForum meetings while she was still leading the marketing department that she built from scratch. She stepped up her search after her company, a family owned business, decided to eliminate her department. Heather used her marketing prowess by creating and delivering a PowerPoint presentation to the president of the company where she landed her next job.
