We get it. You’re nervous, public speaking isn’t in your comfort zone, and you just want to get it over with. But never forget that you only have one opportunity to make a first impression.

Please join us on November 8, 2018, when Marilyn Opdyke leads an informative and interactive program on how to deliver an introduction that people will remember, and a networking approach that lands the connections you’re looking for. She will share tips and techniques from her own experience as well as call on others to share their success strategies for successfully networking and engaging in group environments.

Marilyn is the owner and lead consultant for the Opdyke Consulting Group, Inc. and a long-time Inforum member. She believes that leadership matters, and when you tap the collective wisdom and potential of your people, develop their skills and competencies, and support them with effective strategies and structures, you can build a true competitive advantage!

Meet monthly for networking with other Inforum members who are interested in establishing and building professional relationships. Each month we’ll enjoy casual networking plus a brief presentation from an Inforum member regarding a topic of interest to businesswomen in our community.  Coffee and breakfast items may be purchased in the Walsh cafeteria, or you may bring your own.

The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College.  Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
