Yes, Diversity is important but today Disruption is needed to be effective in navigating your personal and professional success. Sandy will share how women must identify and address common workplace barriers and work quickly to overcome them. Sandy will share tips and observations to support and encourage women to initiate and enhance Inclusion within their workplace and professional sphere.
Cassandra "Sandy" Harvey is a strategically-skilled human resources and operational executive. She offers more than 20 years in human resources as a leader in recruiting, organizational management, facilitation instructional design, performance management, succession planning, and marketing. A Diversity expert, she has executive advisory, coaching, and negotiation skills that she has utilized as a consultant and business owner for over six years. She believes "Diversity is more than a hiring quota, it is whether the thoughts and ideas of all at the table are genuinely heard and applied."
The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
