Description
How to Engage a Cross-Generational Workforce without Losing Anyone in the Process
Nearly every workplace today is cross-generational. Do you struggle with engagement, communication, and trust in the office due to generational differences? It is possible to improve productivity and employee engagement in the challenging environment.
Besides being fun, this presentation will improve your ability to manage others with tools that help you:
· Connect authentically
· Communicate successfully
· Build trusting relationships
Our presenter is Mary Cooney. Ph.D., founder and CEO of Creativia, a company that helps businesses deal with the generational and innovation challenges of a changing marketplace. Because of her years as a university professor, where she prepared millenials for the workforce, and her varied career experiences, Mary has a unique ability to see this issue from all sides.
The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
Please contact Brenda Meller at mellerbrenda@gmail.com for information or questions associated with the Troy Affinity Group, or if you are a member of Inforum interested in speaking at this group.
The Troy Affinity Group encourages members to Pay-It-Forward by paying half of a nw member’s membership fee. If you are interested in the Pay-It-Forward program please contact Laura Rolands at rolands@wideopenwest.com.
