Inclusive Leadership
Sixty percent of the problems that occur at work are related to poor or improper listening. When we do listen, we tend to listen only to what we think we need -- the surface stuff. Much of what gets in the way are our own opinions and judgements. We get in our own way, and as a result we miss out on critical details. This is not only problematic at work, but at home and in our communities. Unlike other models, Inclusive Listening (tm) helps you set aside the judgements you make about others, so you can hear more fully the spoken and unspoken messages.
This workshop will improve your ability to listen to others with tools that help you:
- Set aside judgements
- Listen for what's not said
- Seek out clues in the context
- Create safer conversations that are more productive and grounded in trust
- Build stronger, more productive relationships
