Natural Wiring Doesn't Change--Behavior Does

If Hard Wiring Doesn't Change-What Can Change?

There are hundreds of instruments that measure personality or behavior, but personality and behavior change over time. It is one of the reasons why we do not behave today like we did when we were 18 years old. However, we still harbor many of the same fears, desires, communication preferences, and thought processes we had when we were 18. These basic and unchanging characteristics can be traced back to our natural wiring. We have discovered that personality, behavior and style assessments do not predict job success.

This workshop will include a personal assessment for each participant and will reveal how an employee's natural wiring fits the position they hold and predicts their job success and job satisfaction.  **Prior to the Learning Lab, you will recieve an email from The Hunter Group which will include a link to the assessment.**

Learning Objectives

  • Take and review your personal wiring assessment and understand the key components.
  • Understand how others are wired and why communications and behaviors are sometimes unproductive.
  • Learn how these factors can be employed for teambuilding, internal and external recruiting, and personal development.

Key Takeaways

You will understand how to see past external behavior smoke screens and know how your team members:

  • Accept ideas (some people like their ideas the best, others always seek out the ideas of others)
  • Deal with pressure (pressure speeds up some people, slows others down)
  • Make decisions (some people need lots of information, others just want a basic high level view)
  • Deal with risk (some require clear and objective proof, others are comfortable with gut feel)
