Description

Magnetic Influence-Cynthia Barnes

Every person you meet is a potential client or a referral to a potential client. No matter what your personality, you can connect with folks you know and those you haven’t met yet by plugging into your three biggest “connectability” factors. Learn tactics to magnetically influence people at meetings, networking events and social gatherings. The expert tricks on how to get noticed through referrals and networking are genius but simple enough to be usable from the moment you walk the door.

Cynthia Barnes, a Metro Detroit-based executive sales and leadership coach and thought leader, is an expert on turning contacts into flourishing business relationships. As a visionary and intense leader of highly successful sales teams, Cynthia has learned that the key to reaching the Top 1% is a high level of precision combined with relentless execution.

Cynthia holds an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business. She is also the driving force behind the National Association of Women Sales Professionals— a national organization that provides professional development for women sales professionals.

Meet monthly for networking with other Inforum members who are interested in establishing and building professional relationships. Each month we’ll enjoy casual networking plus a brief presentation from an Inforum member regarding a topic of interest to businesswomen in our community.  Coffee and breakfast items may be purchased in the Walsh cafeteria, or you may bring your own.

The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College.  Doors open at 7:45 a.m.

Please contact Brenda Meller at mellerbrenda@gmail.com for information or questions associated with the Troy Affinity Group, or if you are a member of Inforum interested in speaking at this group.

The Troy Affinity Group encourages members to Pay-It-Forward by paying half of a nw member’s membership fee.  If you are interested in the Pay-It-Forward program please contact Laura Rolands at rolands@wideopenwest.com.
