Amway Stadium Construction Tour

Join the AEC Inforum Affinity Group for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Amway Stadium, one of the most exciting projects currently taking shape in downtown Grand Rapids.

Currently under construction on the city’s West Side, the $175 million, 134,500-square-foot stadium will feature 8,500 seats and serve as the future home of AC Grand Rapids, West Michigan’s new MLS NEXT Pro team. Designed as a multi-purpose venue for professional and amateur sports, community events, and more, Amway Stadium is set to become a major addition to Grand Rapids’ growing sports and entertainment landscape.

Thanks to our partners at Rockford, AECOM Hunt, and Grand Action 2.0, attendees will have the opportunity to step inside the active project and get an up-close look at the progress being made ahead of the stadium’s anticipated 2027 opening.

IMPORTANT Tour Details & What to Know

Please keep in mind that Amway Stadium is an active construction site, with more than 100 workers on site each day. For everyone's safety, attendees must follow all jobsite requirements and come dressed appropriately.

Meeting Location & Parking: Attendees should report to the Rockford/AECOM Hunt Field Office at 337 Mt. Vernon Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Please park in one of the designated visitor parking areas shown on the provided site map and meet at the Field Office before entering the jobsite. The group will review safety requirements and gear up with PPE before beginning the tour.

What to Wear: Attendees are responsible for arriving in appropriate jobsite attire, including construction-grade footwear, pants, and a shirt with sleeves at least standard T-shirt length. Sneakers, tennis or jogging shoes, sandals, open-toed shoes and heels are not permitted. Shorts, skirts, sweatpants, tank tops and other non-jobsite attire are also prohibited. You must wear the required PPE and attire to take the tour, no exceptions.

PPE: Rockford/AECOM Hunt will provide Type 2 hard hats, hi-vis safety vests, safety glasses and Cut Level 4 gloves for attendees. You do not need to bring these items with you.

Photography: Photos may be taken during the tour; however, please do not post or share any photos on social media or other external channels without prior review and approval from Rockford/AECOM Hunt and project ownership.
