Monsters, Santa and Water-Goddesses 

Join us for a festive holiday themed meeting that is sure to leave you in a jolly holiday mood and expand your understanding of various cultures as we look at international celebrations as the year draws to a close.

International renowned speaker, actress, adventurer and writer Michelle Feneberg will be our "tour guide" as we take a multicultural trip around the world. We'll roam the dark streets of Bavaria and face the Perchten Monsters frightening away the evil winter spirits. We will continue past Sweden and meet little St Lucia’s bringing light into the dark winter and we will end in sunny Brazil as the people present offerings of perfume and flowers to the Water-goddess Lemanja in the hope that their wishes for the New Year will come true. Along the way we will see how Hanukkah is celebrated, meet Saint Nicholas and laugh at the downright nutty Shepherd boy tradition in Catalonia, Spain.

Holiday treats will be served. Plus, you can submit your holiday wishes for connections who may be able to help you on your quest to find a new job, position or career. We'll check your list twice. Because we're sure you're nice, we'll help you get connected with InForum members who may be able to help you get one step closer to your goal.

About our speaker: Michelle Feneberg, writer, speaker, actress and adventurer, is originally from South Africa and has lived in Germany, UAE, China and now the USA in the great state of Michigan. Her enormous curiosity has led her to interview the people she has met on her life journey and gather together interesting anecdotes of holidays and celebrations and the quirkier side of life in other countries. Michelle has been a guest speaker at the European Toastmaster's Conference in Paris in 2003, the American-German Business Club in Munich and the Probus (Professional Business Club) in South Africa.
