Special Edition: Detroit Lunch Affinity Group Joins Women’s Service Day

This September, we're taking a break from our usual lunch format to give back to the community. Inforum’s Detroit Lunch Affinity Group invites you to join us for the 2025 Women's Service Day Metro Detroit on Thursday, September 18.

Instead of gathering together, we'll be spreading out across the region, volunteering at local nonprofit organizations. There are a variety of morning and afternoon service projects to choose from, making it easy to fit volunteering into your schedule.

To participate:

• - Sign up via the Women's Service Day registration page and select a nonprofit still in need of volunteers: Sign Up Here. It’s recommended to sign up by Sept 11 in order to receive all of the important details leading up to Women’s Service Day.
• - After signing up, please email Maureen to let the Affinity Group co-leads know where you're volunteering. She'll help track group participation and connect members volunteering at the same location.

There is no registration required on the Inforum website for this event. We highly encourage you to invite a friend or colleague to volunteer alongside you!

About the Detroit Lunch Affinity Group

Lunch meetings are typically on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Meeting locations vary from month-to-month as our group focuses on highlighting businesses, companies, and organizations within the Detroit city limits.  We aim to offer a light lunch and refreshments at all our meetings - complimentary when a sponsor is available. All Inforum members are welcome and guests considering Inforum membership may attend up to two affinity group meetings.

Please connect with a volunteer co-leader if you have any questions or if you are interested in speaking at this group, hosting an upcoming meeting, and/or sponsoring lunch.
