Workforce Challenges and State of the Industry
Staff retention continues to be a top priority for most healthcare executives. This panel will engage senior-level managers to discuss best practices in staff retention and explore broader issues that are facing the healthcare industry. Panelists from different backgrounds will provide unique perspectives including workforce development initiatives within the legislature, changes in population and access to data for talent availability. We’ll learn how higher education institutes are recruiting new students and exploring ways in which nursing education is moving forward. And from a clinical viewpoint, discuss how the physician workforce continues to change and the challenges of retaining providers in an ambulatory staffing model.
