Please join us on Tuesday, June 24^th when we welcome Meg Watt to talk about Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Meg Watt has been an active volunteer with the Alzheimer’s association since her Dad’s diagnosis in 2016. At the onset of her father’s illness, Meg submerged herself in as many resources as possible. She’s attended numerous conferences on Alzheimer’s and Dementia, participated in a class: Creating Confident Caregivers, and is serving as a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. Outside of volunteering, Meg is an avid mental health advocate and influencer. Marrying her love for service, along with her professional job as a facilitator, Meg considers the awareness presentations as a continuous tribute to her late father who passed away in September, 2020.

What is the purpose of the group?

Public interest in complementary and holistic healthcare options continues to grow as people seek healthier options to preserving and maintaining good health without relying on medications.

The group is focused on providing information, resources, and support for women around health and wellness issues. It will provide accessible strategies, techniques and resources women can adopt to make positive changes in their own health and lives.

We plan a wide range of health and wellness topics that women will find practical and useful in their daily health maintenance. We expect to host guest speakers who are subject matter experts in their fields.
