Description
Inforum Connections at Centric Place
March 14th from 4-5:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening of networking at Centric Place. Inforum Connections is a way for members and guests to connect with Inforum and each other. Our goal is to create a memorable experience in a setting that showcases a local business with a behind-the-scenes view, and to have an excuse to do some shopping with a local vendor! Thanks to Exodus Consulting Group there will be drinks and appetizers provided. Centric Place's co-owner Racheal Allen will be present to give an overview of the space, and Centric Place's mission.
Centric Place is a first of its kind hub for Black arts, culture and entrepreneurship. As the first co-working space in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Centric Place boasts a thriving community of aspiring, emerging and established entrepreneurs. Offering a variety of meeting, retreat and event spaces, Centric Place offers unique monthly programming, entrepreneurship training for minority, women and veteran owned businesses.
Gerrard and Racheal Allen are second generation serial entrepreneurs, former educators and creatives at heart. On a mission to authentically curate safe, Black spaces, they dreamed of a place where artists, culture bearers and small business owners could converge to create community. Gerrard is a poet, artistic curator and Ph.D candidate, while Racheal is a highly sought after operations consultant, coach and speaker. Since marrying in Beijing, China, they love traveling the world and checking out thrift stores and museums in every city they visit.
