Women of Wellness Affinity Group

March is Endometriosis Awareness month and Women of Wellness is pleased to host Lindsey Peters as our guest speaker. Lindsey is an Ambassador for the Endometriosis Association, an active member of numerous endometriosis support groups, has been featured in diverse magazine articles about endometriosis, spoken on Capitol Hill to urge legislators to increase funding for endometriosis research, and was featured as an endometriosis panelist for the PEACE (Pharmacy for Equity, Acceptance, Compassion and Excellence) Task Force. She now considers speaking about endometriosis her purpose and hopes that doing so will continue to improve the awareness and actions about the disease, diagnosis, and treatment. During our meeting Lindsey will be discussing symptoms, lifestyle strategies, and pros and cons of various treatment options from her personal experience.

Inforum Affinity Groups bring members together around common interests. They are led by members, for members and are a great way to broaden your network, socialize, develop deeper business relationships, and simply recharge your batteries. What is the purpose of the group?

Public interest in complementary and holistic healthcare options continues to grow as people seek healthier options to preserving and maintaining good health without relying on medications.

The group is focused on providing information, resources, and support for women around health and wellness issues. It will provide accessible strategies, techniques and resources women can adopt to make positive changes in their own health and lives.

We plan a wide range of health and wellness topics that women will find practical and useful in their daily health maintenance. We expect to host guest speakers who are subject matter experts in their fields.
