Troy Affinity Group Meeting

The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. 

Corporate Love Languages

We will explore the five languages of love—words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch—and how they can be translated into the workplace to foster a more positive and collaborative environment. By understanding and applying these languages, leaders and team members can improve communication, enhance employee satisfaction, and build stronger, more empathetic relationships within their organizations. This presentation will demonstrate how recognizing and honoring individual preferences in professional interactions can lead to increased productivity, motivation, and overall workplace harmony.

About Ashley Chambers

Ashley Chambers brings extensive experience to the financial sector, serving as Vice President of Business Development at Chief Financial Credit Union. With over fifteen years in financial management and development, Ashley is dedicated to enhancing financial education and independence. Her efforts focus on improving the banking experience and helping individuals achieve their financial goals. She actively contributes to community initiatives, serving on several boards and committees, including the Rochester Community Schools Foundation and the Inforum Troy chapter, and volunteers with organizations like HAVEN Oakland County and LGBTQIA+ groups.

Ashley's commitment to community and professional excellence has been recognized with several awards, such as the 2019 Rochester Chamber Young Professional of the Year and the 2021 Troy Chamber Young Professional of the Year. In 2023, she was named Corp! Magazine's Most Valuable Young Professional of the Year, and 2024 began with her recognition as a MichBusiness Shooting Star Honoree. Beyond her professional achievements, Ashley mentors students at Oakland University and inspires her niece and nephew, exemplifying leadership and advocacy in both her professional and personal life.

Ashley Chambers stands out as a profound influencer in the financial landscape and a dedicated community advocate, driven by a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
