March 16 Speaker: Jean L. Rose, Executive Director, Global Manufacturing Human Resources, General Motors

Along with her HR team, Ms. Rose supports all aspects of Talent Management for the Executive Vice President, Global Manufacturing and his global manufacturing team that are responsible for 171 manufacturing operations and over 190,000 employees in 31 countries.

In previous roles, Ms. Rose was Executive Director of Employee Benefits and Global Human Resources Operations. She had responsibility for the design, negotiation and administration of all U.S. benefit programs, representing approximately 520,000 hourly and salaried employees and retirees and at its peak $11B of payments. Ms. Rose has participated in numerous National Negotiations with her most recent experience in 2011.

Ms. Rose was a member of the top Labor Relations leadership team, with responsibility for oversight of eleven subcommittees. Ms. Rose also had responsibility for Global HR Systems and Operations. She is a Director appointed to the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) Board since 2010.
