Wellness Unleashed: A Journey to Being Well
Facilitated by DeDe Esque
Whether you use the language of making resolutions, or establishing goals, or setting intentions, or none of those phrases. Putting our personal well-being as a top priority is something most of us can agree on.
- How do we “be well”?
- What does wellness mean to us?
- What do we want for ourselves as part of our aging process?
Come prepared to talk about what you consider to be “well-being” and how you make all aspects of wellness your top priority doing it with intention and in your own unique way.
Facilitator Information
Join us for an insightful session on mastering being well, facilitated by DeDe Esque. DeDe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She is certified in executive and leadership coaching through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, is certified in team coaching through the Global Team Coaching Institute, holds a PCC level credential from the International Coaching Federation, and an ITCA credential from the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. She is certified (aka Qualified Administrator) in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment and development model, certified with the Cultural Intelligence Center in their Cultural Intelligence assessment and Unconscious Bias training.
Experienced in a variety of transitions, DeDe Esque brings forty-plus years of experience to her work as an independent consultant, facilitator, certified leadership and team coach. Prior to entering the world of consulting, she served as the Interim Director for the Grantmaking School at the Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University and also as President and CEO of a private foundation. Much of her formative professional experience took place in the retail and finance sectors concentrated in human resources operations, training and organizational development, management and team coaching, program design, and leadership development specifically with High Potentials (aka Emerging Leaders.)
Because of her personal experiences as a leader in transitional situations and her lived experiences as a biracial person of color, DeDe utilizes thoughtful skills needed to work within complex systems and emotionally charged environments.

The purpose of this affinity group is to leverage and strengthen the Inforum network by bringing together all hues of Women of Color, advocates, and allies to engage in courageous conversations that inspire personal and professional excellence and success. We encourage authentic relationships and desire to create a space for collaboration to accelerate strategic connections and professional and business growth for Women of Color. We don’t want time and proximity to be an issue; hence why a virtual.

Alba Contreras Rodriguez is the President and Founder of FonS (Focus on Solution), LLC. Alba specializes in Executive Coaching and Team Coaching across multiple industries. She helps leaders and teams change behavior and develop capabilities to maximize their impact and value. She is a recognized strategic global operations and management executive with proven history in building high-performance teams and leading sophisticated manufacturing and service organizations, including the consulting space. She integrates that experience into her coaching practice.
Sandy Harvey is the President and Founder of Exodus Consulting Group, LLC, a transformational people and process firm. She is a highly skilled strategist with over 25 years of human resources, organizational development, leadership, and diversity and inclusion experience. As a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), Sandy works with organizations across the globe to develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy to create engaging and productive workplace cultures. As a pastoral, and executive coach, Sandy has facilitated leadership, human resources, and diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategic initiatives for multinational companies for years. She proudly serves as a Board Member for Leadership Oakland.
