ArtPrize 2023: What's New in the World's Most-Attended Public Art Event

Join us for a special event for Inforum members, where individuals can virtually meet Catlin Whitington, executive director of ArtPrize, and hear about the special plans for this year's event. 

ArtPrize is not only free and open to the public, it's also open to any artist, whether they're from down the road or the other side of the world. They  welcome anyone in the mediums of visual or experiential art who have artwork to enter and venues eager to host these works. For eighteen days, art is exhibited in galleries and storefronts, in parks and museums, in speakeasies, and in public spaces and at venues of all kinds.

Catlin Whitington started as Executive Director of ArtPrize in 2023. He has experience with strategic planning and the execution and growth of global events and world-class venues. Before coming to ArtPrize, Whitington was planning manager for the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festivals and VP of Operations at the Long Center for Performing Arts. Whitington is passionate about placemaking, community development, and tapping our collective lived experience to make and share stories.
