Sustainability City

Have you been tasked to increase recycled content in your products or to reduce waste and carbon? If yes, don’t miss this tour.

PADNOS, a 4-generation strong, family owned, and privately held industrial recycler was founded in 1905. Serving major retail chains, OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to recycle paper, plastic, metals and electronics. While not the largest, they have more diverse processing capabilities than any other industrial recycler in the world which aids them in solving complex mixed material challenges.

The highlight of the tour is PADNOS’s Sustainability City, where you’ll witness some of the tangible solutions they have developed. The tour will be led by Kari Bliss, Principal Sustainability. She is a GreenBiz certified professional, Leading the Sustainability Transformation, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, a board member of the Michigan Sustainable Business Forum, and the Treasurer of the Society of Plastic Engineers Recycling Division. She is a result driven leader skilled at bringing stakeholders together to develop sustainability initiatives and solve complex circular economy challenges.
