Description

Navigating Your Career with Intention

Are you in the driver's seat in your career? What is guiding you along the way? Stars? GPS? Directions from well-meaning friends and relatives who've been there? Participants will complete a values and goals exercise, map their career journey to-date using a Lifelines framework and explore the differences between a “destination” career path and an “interesting assignment” career path. We'll be mapping your career in the session, so get prepared by taking a look at old resumes and your LinkedIn profile to remind yourself of all the roles you've had along the way. Bonus points if you can find an old copy that includes your very first paid job.

In this lab, you will:
- Map your career journey to-date
- Explore your values and goals, the "what's in it for me" as a working person
- Identify the differences between “destination” career path and an “interesting assignment” career path
