We are honored to have a fantastic panel that includes:
Sahir Al-Salam
Sahir has a diverse background community engagement. With a passion for the advancement and centering of minority communities. Spending nearly a decade as a dialysis tech, she recognized the need to increase pain management options for those living with chronic illnesses. This experience lead her to organize caregivers who focused on medicinal medication as a holistic experience. The drive to provide a holistic experience ignited her to starting her own cultivation service. She learned not only how to cultivate the plant itself, but how to plant seeds of prosperity within her community. Establishing two investment groups that have raised (to date) over $200,000. Creating a network of black investors dedicated to obtaining generational wealth and dismantling poverty systems in black communities. Her community networking and investment opportunities led her to establish a consulting company Sahir Al-Salam Consulting which offers development of grow facility plans, grow op development, marijuana investments, and dispensary scales and marketing. Sahir Al-Salam Consulting has developed a scale and succession plan for a medical marijuana dis- pensary. As a consultant, she assisted the dispensary with structural lay out. This dispensary passed state licensing inspection and to open June 27th 2020. Detroit Life lounge is her most intimate project. She seen a need for the community to have access to resources to help get into the marijuana industry. High Prophecy Is Sahir’s most recent project. Being a grower it was important for her to have a brand and cannabis strain that represent who she is. High prophecy will be released in Michigan 2023. Sahir believes life experiences are our most impactful teachers. We have all the knowledge we seek within. Within our communities, our cultural practices and ourselves. Her leisure time is usually spent traveling for personal development, informing the community concerning legal changes in the marijuana industry, and teaching patients how to cultivate and self advocate.

The purpose of the Lady Bosses is to provide educational programming (speakers, workshops), support, inspiration, accountability to and from other Inforum business owners or prospective owners. While much of the Inforum membership is in the corporate world, Lady Bosses Affinity Group is designed to meet the unique needs of business owners. It can also become a catalyst to encourage women to start or purchase their own businesses. The group also can provide and gain synergy from Inforum’s inGAGE strategy.
