We are excited to share with you a virtual event on Wednesday, May 3rd from 8 to 9:30am.  Lorrena Black, Vice President of Leadership Development at Inforum, is joining us for the first of a two-part series on Networking!

This interactive session examines how to build, maintain and refresh your network, both internally and externally, to make the most impact at different career levels.  Please note INTERACTIVE, all participants are requested to attend with CAMERA ON.

In this session you will learn:
- why networking is so important to career success, 
- how to network authentically, 
- barriers to networking, and 
- tips to mitigate those barriers are all addressed in this workshop. 

Lorrena Black, VP of Leadership Development at Inforum, will be talking about Networking

Lorrena D. Black is Vice President of Leadership Development for Inforum, a Michigan-based nonprofit focused on accelerating the careers of women and boosting talent initiatives for companies. In this position, Lorrena oversees the strategic direction, delivery and sales of all Inforum leadership development programs ensuring that the program portfolio is relevant, in demand, effective, and sustainable.

From 1997-2018 Lorrena served honorably as an active-duty service member in the United States Army. In 2018 she joined the Army Reserves and served until April 30, 2022, when she retired as a Major with 25-years of service.

A wife and mother to four teens, Lorrena is passionate about her family, and serving her community and fellow veterans
