Have you heard of A3? Did you know that A3 is more than just a European paper size, roughly the equivalent to an American 11”x17” tabloid-sized paper? If you’re interested in learning the power of A3 from a Lean Six-Sigma perspective as a tool to help see the thinking behind the problem-solving, then you need to attend the manufacturingNEXT event on March 16, 2023! During this event experts from Disher will discuss and work through an A3 case study, equipping participants with enhanced knowledge and an example A3 to take back to their organizations. Additionally, example A3’s from non-Manufacturing industries will be available for reference. NOTE: This event will be held at Amway World Headquarters in Ada, MI.

Natalie Lugten, Product Development Engineer, DISHER

Natalie has been a Product Development Engineer for DISHER since May 2022. She has a biomedical and engineering degree from The University of Michigan, where she also spent time working in the Medical School as a adminstrative assistant. Previously, Natalie spent time in Ann Arbor as an electrical engineer for Terumo Heart Inc where she spent several months focused on problem solving.

Shawn O'Farrell, Area Lead, Manufacturing Tech Services and Automation, DISHER
Shawn is currently the Area Lead of Manufacturing Technical Services and Automation at DISHER, a nationally recognized engineering, manufacturing technology, and talent solutions firm based in Zeeland, Michigan. Shawn is a versatile engineer, operations leader, trainer, and mentor with two decades of experience across several industries including: automotive, commercial products, and medical device manufacturing. He actively partners with manufacturing leaders and team members to implement lean systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation solutions that are tailor-made for each customer.
