Servant Leadership- Balance with Boundaries

Join us for this Virtual Lab where leaders (regardless of position or title) explore what being a servant leader looks like. Through discussion, stories and small group interaction, participants will dive into some of the real-world challenges of being a servant leader in these times of staffing shortages. Through increased self awareness and subtle mind-set shifts (from self to others), participants will challenge themselves to grow as a servant leader; a journey that will continue throughout their career.


In this lab, you will:

• -Gain new insight to what being a servant leader looks and feels like, from the perspective of the leader and those you lead
• -Contrast the long term results that come from a servant leadership versus power based approaches (results for the leader, the team and the organization)
• -Explore some of the challenges that come with servant leadership
• -Map-out personal desires and commitments to lead more consciously with a servant mindset

Thank you to our facilitator: 

Elizabeth Rolinski has 37 years of experience between General Motors, Prince Corp, Johnson Controls, and Clarios. Prior to serving as Global VP Operations and Global VP Manufacturing Engineering with the largest automotive battery producer in the world, she rotated through numerous engineering, plant leadership, operations, purchasing, international and executive leadership positions. These roles provided her opportunities to be involved in the launch of new technologies, new plants, emerging regions, and cultural, organizational, and strategic initiatives. 

In August, 2020 she retired from the corporate world to join Leading by DESIGN, following a desire to focus more intently on developing leaders, engaging teams and serving others.
