Please join us as Renee Collins, retired Vice President Owner Sales of Johnson Controls a global leader in making “smart” buildings shares her 39 year journey with the company. Renee was known as the “Pioneer for Women” at JCI as she opened doors for women in a male-dominated business and company. She had many “firsts” for females with the company including first Area Sales Manager, first General Manager and first Vice President. You will learn her tips and recommendations for women who want to ascend to the C-suite in a large corporation.

Renee joined JCI as a sales engineer after graduating from MSU with a BS in Engineering. She progressed rapidly and led P&L business units where she developed high performing teams responsible for safety, customer excellence, employee engagement and profitability and growth of the business. Renee is currently a MSU College of Engineering Alumni Board Member, serves on the L’Arbre Croche Community Fund Board and mentors professional women for Women Unlimited and 4Word organizations.
