The Anatomy of Gratitude
The last two years mostly due to COVID have been the most challenging for our generation. It has affected every aspect of our lives and changed the way we do many things. It has impacted the way we live, work, significantly the way we die and think. I believe one of the most important of these is how it has influenced the way we think. Why is how we think important? Because thinking drives behavior. Simply stated “Gratitude” starts with a thought. That thought leads to changes in the brain which results in a response; emotionally or physically. Gratitude has the “power” to influence one's attitude, behavior, and physical well-being.
We will look closely at what makes the act of “Gratitude” so powerful by closely examining its parts: what it is, why it is important and how to release its power.
