Description
Our Inforum affinity group women of wellness is pleased to present Karen Kelman as our guest speaker on Thursday September 15th at noon.
Karen is one of the founders and owners of Cycle & Row and Fuse45. She is a highly motivating, effective and nurturing instructor. She was a true pioneer of the fitness industry, teaching aerobics during and post-college back when leotards were cool and big hair was in. Once her kids were grown, Karen exchanged her leotards for Lululemon and became trained in Stott Pilates, TRX, Spinning® and Personal Training. She took her passion for exercise to a new level when she launched her functional training business in 2010, which fueled the fire to develop her own fitness concept.
We all face challenges on how to safely and effectively get our exercise into our day, and Karen is going to be talking about how to make that happen and which exercises are best for #agingwell.
Note: This will be an interactive / active meeting, so please plan to participate and move your body!
What is the purpose of the group?
Public interest in complementary and holistic healthcare options continues to grow as people seek healthier options to preserving and maintaining good health without relying on medications.
The group is focused on providing information, resources, and support for women around health and wellness issues. It will provide accessible strategies, techniques and resources women can adopt to make positive changes in their own health and lives.
We plan a wide range of health and wellness topics that women will find practical and useful in their daily health maintenance. We expect to host guest speakers who are subject matter experts in their fields.
