“How to Communicate with S.T.A.R. Power”

Inforum Women on the Move will launch our fall season in-person at our original meeting time of 6 p.m. with a FREE workshop which typically costs $800. We'll be meeting at Partnr Haus Coworking Den in Birmingham (plenty of adjacent FREE parking). We'll start the meeting with introductions and networking until 6:20 p.m. when the workshop will begin.

If you are looking for a job, you know the importance of communicating with confidence and clarity.Your mindset, words, and actions must be aligned to make that right impression. The same is true if you want to keep your current job or move up in the organization. Either way, you need to be ready to capitalize on opportunities by communicating with impact.

You will learn how to have impactful interviews to get the job you want

and success strategies to keep the job you have. You will practice communicating with confidence, clarity, and authenticity by using the S.T.A.R. model and by being mindful of your mindset to control the narrative.

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Use the S.T.A.R. model to nail key interview questions.

• Understand how their thoughts play a role in their communication.

• Focus on communicating authentically to have the career they desire.
