Women, leadership, inclusivity and impact on the community 

Sandra Gaddy, a passionate and strategic leader with over 20 years of leadership experience, brings extensive expertise in team development, strategic planning, forming collaborative partnerships and fundraising. Gaddy became chief executive officer of the Women’s Resource Center, an organization which empowers and educates women to achieve greater economic independence through meaningful employment, in March 2017. She was previously vice president of advancement for Inner City Christian Federation-ICCF in Grand Rapids and had also served as chief marketing and communication officer for Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids. In addition, she spent 15 years in various roles in banking, including as vice president at two different banks. Gaddy says that Servant Leadership is at core of who she is.

Sandra Gaddy is very active in the community and some of her professional and community activities include:
• Board and Executive Committee of Hope College Board of Trustees
• Vice-Chair, GR Chamber’s Black Women Connect Council
• Inforum of Michigan Regional Council
• Board and Executive Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFPWM)
• Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Grand Rapids Alumnae Chapter
• Several committees and service projects throughout West Michigan

Gaddy graduated from Cornerstone University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, and also attended Ferris State University. She and husband Arlen-Dean Gaddy have three children: Marissa, who lives and works in Grand Rapids; Garrison, who is a student at GRCC and serves in the U.S. Navy; and Angelique, a graduate student at Western Michigan University.
