As a continuation of our January topic on strategic planning, we will talk about how to make an impact towards your goals by keeping a scorecard on your strategy metrics. In this month's ManufacturingNEXT's affinity event, we talk with Jennifer Bennett with Ventura Manufacturing and Kelly Myers with Shape Corporation about how they identify what to measure and how they communicate progress to make an impact towards their goals in Manufacturing.

Jennifer has worked at Ventura Manufacturing for 18 years, holding various roles and leadership positions in finance, operations, and business intelligence. During her tenure, she and her teams helped grow the company from West Michigan to several subsidiaries and locations around the globe. Prior to working at Ventura, Jennifer was a local broadcast journalist and continues to use her skills in communication in business, helping her teams understand facts and dig deeper to uncover truth in data and trends. She actively encourages her teams to ask tough questions and approach problems systematically and with an eye towards constant and continuous improvement.

Currently, as an Operations Manager she is committed to developing her leaders and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures of the organization. She is committed to improving her team’s vision to ensure to always promotes a safe work environment, customer quality satisfaction, and on time delivery while controlling costs
