Crafting a Career Search Strategy

All too often, our careers become something that simply happens to us rather than something we strive to build.  Sure, as young professionals we had dreams and career aspirations.  We knew we could take on the world but then life got in the way.  Our goals, obligations, commitments, interests and abilities all change over time.  When this happens, it’s easy to feel lost and uncertain.  Our confidence wanes.  This is where crafting a career search strategy makes a difference. 

Whether you’re pursuing an internal promotion or an opportunity outside the company, searching for your next opportunity IS a full-time job.  So why not treat your search like your most valuable project?  Afterall, it enables you to meet and exceed your personal and professional goals.  Together we’ll learn how to plan your search, leverage your network, properly use social media, improve your ability to be found in relevant searches, find those ‘hidden jobs’, and create a strategy you can implement.
