One year ago, Michigan Humane Society changed its name and logo to better reflect the changing scope of its work over the past decade. Michigan Humane’s mission will always be focused on animals – it’s why we’re here – but our modern approach to animal welfare is more human-centered. Our future is in supporting pet owners, partnering with human service to more fully serve families in need, providing training and resources to smaller animal welfare organizations across the country, creating opportunities for young people to experience veterinary careers, establishing a more humane community, and as always, completing families through pet adoption.

Join us on July 14 at 11:30 for a Zoom meeting with Deb Scola, VP/Strategic Relationships at Michigan Humane. Pets welcome! Seriously, we want to meet them.

Downtown Detroit Affinity Group
Lunch meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Our group focuses on highlighting businesses, companies and organizations within the Detroit city limits. All are welcome.
