National Geographic's Portraits of Power with Susan Goldberg
Thursday, February 4
Join us for Inforum’s virtual event where we will hear from Susan Goldberg, National Geographic’s first female editor-in-chief. Susan will share what she learned from the women she interviewed in the book Women: The National Geographic Image Collection and talk about how she's worked to diversify NatGeo's voices. The book features more than 400 pictures of women from more than 50 countries, as well as interviews with an iconic group of activists, luminaries, politicians, and celebrities. Among them: Oprah Winfrey, conservationist Jane Goodall, teen gun control activist Emma González, and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. Susan will take questions from the audience after her remarks.
This event is free for Inforum members.
