Description
The Art of Give and Take
Is it really better to give than to receive? And do givers always gain?
There are two sides to giving and a balance must be struck between them. Bring two small objects to this meeting and let’s explore what it means to give — and take.
We will also discuss our “Pay It Forward” program that our group pioneered.
Our speaker is Stella Woitulewicz. Stella has been a recovering corporate accountant for 19 years. She left the corporate world when she found her passions in instructional design, leadership and organizational development, and improvisation, and she wears many hats, Stella also volunteers for Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, local theatres, and, of course, as one of the co-chairs for this affinity group.
The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
Please contact Brenda Meller at mellerbrenda@gmail.com for information or questions associated with the Troy Affinity Group, or if you are a member of Inforum interested in speaking at this group.
The Troy Affinity Group encourages members to Pay-It-Forward by paying half of a nw member’s membership fee. If you are interested in the Pay-It-Forward program please contact Laura Rolands at rolands@wideopenwest.com.
