About the speaker: Dicia Horner

Hi there! My name is Dicia and it's pronounced Dice-uh. I have a Bachelor's in Human Services from Grace Bible College & has been in finance for almost 4 years now. I am licensed in life insurance, investments, and variable annuities.

I always knew I wanted to help people somehow, but was never quite sure in what way. Through a variety of random incidents, I ended up getting interested in finance. My husband, Matt, and I had been following Dave Ramsey and were loving the empowerment & fulfillment we felt with getting ourselves on the right track, and when I heard being in finance described as “helping people get to their goals and dreams,” I was sold! Now, we love helping others not only learn those same concepts, but actually apply them to achieve their goals and dreams!

I like to say I help "take the intimidation out of your finances." Over the past 1.5 years, I’ve developed 5 money personalities that help you put words to some of your emotions around money. I help you manage those emotions, along with being able to have practical ways to get on the right track financially. I specialize in budgeting, helping people get out of debt fastest & most efficiently, free up/save money by finding ways to use your money more efficiently, helping find proper life insurance coverage, and invest for the future.

Women on the Move is a new affinity group focused on supporting women both emotionally and socially as they experience career change. This is for women who desire to make a move and for women who find themselves in transition.

The group will meet with the intent to provide tools and resources needed to conduct the most effective job search possible. This will be done through collaboration using the wisdom of the women in the group and supplementing with outside speakers.
