Description: Job searching in a time of economic instability is undoubtedly a tough time. Adjusting to the changing landscape of the workforce is hard work. And, sometimes, the sneaky saboteurs that live within our thoughts can begin to make it even tougher on us than it needs to be! We all have these inner critics, so let’s get to know them and take back control of our own career paths again!

In this session, Sarah will introduce you to your Judge and other common saboteurs using the Saboteur Assessment (author Shirzad Chamine) to see which saboteurs might be taking over your job search these days. More importantly, though, we will learn and apply Positive Intelligence skills like empathy, navigation and activation to make sure that your inner leader is driving your job search!

Sarah Rose, owner of Rise: Career Navigation Coaching LLC, brings over 15 years of career navigation and coaching experience from higher education and private practice. Sarah has trained as a coach through Co-Active Training Institute and by renowned coach and founder of Positive Intelligence, Shirzad Chamine. Sarah believes we all have the power to design more fulfilling careers that fill the needs of the future.

Women on the Move is a new affinity group focused on supporting women both emotionally and socially as they experience career change. This is for women who desire to make a move and for women who find themselves in transition.

The group will meet with the intent to provide tools and resources needed to conduct the most effective job search possible. This will be done through collaboration using the wisdom of the women in the group and supplementing with outside speakers.
