Description
Your job search in this virtual world
When COVID-19 hit the US, the way that organizations hire new employees changed overnight. Learn to navigate career transitions in a virtual world and make the most of your online presence with Cori Anderson, SHRM-SCP.
Cori Anderson, SHRM-SCP, has worked in the HR industry for 10 years, with extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Cultural Development. As a Talent Development Specialist at AEBetancourt, she is devoted to assisting organizations in finding, selecting, and retaining top talent. Cori is a regular contributor to Michigan Agent Magazine by the MAIA and a volunteer within the jail system, where she teaches an Employability class to incarcerated women. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Communications & Leadership at Gonzaga University and plans to use her education to expand her firm’s offerings to include Organizational Communications Consulting. In her free time, Cori enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking, cooking, and (of course) spending time with her one-eyed pug, Pudge.

Women on the Move is a new affinity group focused on supporting women both emotionally and socially as they experience career change. This is for women who desire to make a move and for women who find themselves in transition.
The group will meet with the intent to provide tools and resources needed to conduct the most effective job search possible. This will be done through collaboration using the wisdom of the women in the group and supplementing with outside speakers.
