WM Women on the Move Affinity Group (virtual)

Aug 20th with speaker Mita Fitzjohn presenting Identifying and Honoring Your Values. Mita will help guests identify their values and then we can discuss how they're honoring them or not today and how to do so in the future.

Everyone’s value system is as unique and important to them as are other aspects of their identity. Paying attention to or learning what our values are is not something we typically focus on as children or even adults.

When we learn and honor what our values are, we are reminded of what fuels us, what brings us joy and what allows us to live a fulfilling life.

Join us for an interactive discussion on our value system. Identify your top values and determine how you align with them on a day to day basis. Learn how to lead with your values when it comes to your career. We will discuss the disconnect that happens, in our careers and the rest of our lives, when we ignore our values and the reward we feel when honor them.

Women on the Move is a new affinity group focused on supporting women both emotionally and socially as they experience career change. This is for women who desire to make a move and for women who find themselves in transition.

The group will meet with the intent to provide tools and resources needed to conduct the most effective job search possible. This will be done through collaboration using the wisdom of the women in the group and supplementing with outside speakers.
