Join us on February 26th at Gordon Food Service for Inforum's upcoming TechnologyNEXT event. West Michigan is feeling the impact of exponential technologies and the need to prepare for this digital transformation. This event will provide opportunities for everyone, but especially those who far too often are left out of the technological advancement, or are an after-thought to our adoption of technology. Highlighting the need to have a candid conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion in technology adoption. 

Speakers

Mary Brown

Learning and Development Lead (diversity, equity and inclusion), Spectrum Health

Mary is an avid researcher, technophile, Futurist, and polymath who uses these traits to explore and analyze complex systems. She has a  wide range of experience including Human Centered Design, Organization Development, and Learning and Development strategies and methods to improve individual leadership and organizational effectiveness. She was named to Grand Rapids Business Journal's 50 Most Influential Women In West Michigan in 2016. Her current area of focus is AI and human interactions and explores the implications of new technology adoption in society.

Rodger Price

Owner and president, Leading by DESIGN

Owner and founder of Leading by DESIGN, Rodger considers himself one part engineer, one part businessman, and many parts coach and teacher. After more than a decade as a mechanical engineer, Rodger shifted from developing world class automotive products to developing amazing leaders. He spend the next twenty years in executive development for a variety of organizations: Prince/Johnson Controls, Twisthink, Courageous Leadership, and the Reformed Church in America. Rodger rediscovered his passion for developing business leaders in West Michigan, which led him to start Leading by DESIGN in 2014. With a passion for design, science, learning and faith, Rodger brings a unique perspective and method for developing leaders.
