Lessons on Purpose…including how to be Fun Employed

Join us as Dave Keil, president of Franworth in Ann Arbor as well as former CEO of The Lash Lounge, Pure Barre, Haagen-Dazs Shoppes and HoneyBaked Ham, shares the insights he gained when he spent six months unemployed, or as he likes to call it "fun employed." Dave's presentation will resonate whether you're currently employed or not.

Dave's lessons are transformative as he enjoyed his time networking, reading, praying, organizing, exercising, traveling and spending time with family. Not only did he get an early peek at retirement, he had a chance to reset and find his true purpose.

Dave is a huge proponent of women's issues and through his position at Franworth he has partnered with women-owned businesses who want to grow via franchising (The Lash Lounge, MadisonReed, skoah, and CityRow). Many of these women-owned businesses are often overlooked by private equity companies.

Dave: After attending University of Michigan, Dave Keil spent 25 years in Fortune 500 companies, and later was CEO of 4 franchise companies. He founded Franchise For Good, a non-profit company focused on leveraging franchise scaling models for non-profit companies, and is currently growing Colorado Homebuilding Academy into a national footprint. Dave has been married 32 years to Jenny, a trustee and professor emerita of Hamline University; they have three grown children, and reside in Ann Arbor. His blog, lessonsonpurpose.com has many life lessons you may find helpful.
