The Downtown Detroit Affinity Group is pleased to come back together after a 3-month COVID19 hiatus. We’re straying from our usual second Wednesday lunchtime schedule to July 29 to give us more time, a soft restart, and the opportunity to support a small business. Health safety guidelines will be followed.

We’re pleased to bring everyone to The Congregation, a new community café in the Boston Edison neighborhood. Located in the recently renovated New St. James church building, The Congregation has a breakfast and lunch menu and serves Great Lakes Coffee. Coffee and networking begins at 8 a.m. At 8:45, co-owner Betsy Murdoch will talk about the vision and goals of The Congregation and lead us on a tour.

This gathering will be held on The Congregation’s outdoor deck, and in the case of inclement weather, we’ll gather in a private dining room inside with appropriate space for social distancing. Registrations are limited to ensure the ability to keep a distance. We ask that you bring your mask to wear while not eating and drinking, and of course refrain from handshaking and hugging.

Downtown Detroit Affinity Group
Lunch meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Meeting locations vary from month-to-month as our group focuses on highlighting businesses, companies and organizations within the Detroit city limits.  We offer a light lunch and refreshments at all our meetings.  All are welcome.
