Description
In this COVID world, many of us have moved our work locations from outside offices to home and our meetings from down the hall to behind the computer. These changes take a toll on our bodies.
This month, Rebecca Tamm, CEO of Michigan Massage and Wellness, will share some practical and easy-to-implement tips for leveling up our at-home work spaces while taking us through a few easy-to-do stretches that won’t disturb our days.
Rebecca has been a licensed massage therapist and self-proclaimed “body ninja” for the past 17 years. One of her many passions is educating people on taking ownership of their aches and pains. Rebecca’s in-person work is spent stretching people, stepping on them and using a microcurrent to alleviate chronic pain, treat scar tissue, and address mobility problems, and helping people unlock their locked up muscles and joints. Her virtual and “off the table” work is teaching people how to treat their problems at home, on the road, at work, or anywhere pain pops up, and instead of grabbing a bottle of pain medication, grabbing a set of therapy balls or a stretching strap to help them get to the root cause of the pain rather than just putting a temporary band-aid on it.
The mission of the Inforum Troy Morning Networking Group is to be the one meeting you look forward to attending each month. We are committed to an “apology-free” zone so do not apologize if you’re a few minutes late, or if you need to leave a few minutes early (we’ve ALL been there). Our goal is to be a welcoming, supporting networking group for professional women. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at Walsh College. Doors open at 7:45 a.m.
