Join us for networking, light breakfast, and listening to our speaker for this meeting: Marsha Kelliher Walsh College's president
Marsha Kelliher
Marsha Kelliher came to Walsh as president in 2017, bringing decades of academic leadership, teaching, business, and legal experience to her role. Prior to joining Walsh, Kelliher served as Dean of Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, where she led the redesign of the school’s London program, initiated the launch of a Women’s Symposium and led the reaffirmation of the business school’s AACSB accreditation.
Kelliher has made a strong impact in the short time she has been at Walsh, leading an ambitious strategic plan initiative and launching several new academic programs: the country’s only multi-course concentration in automotive cybersecurity, Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources, Bachelor of Science in Applied Management, the Master of Arts in Business, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and reintroduced the Walsh Doctor of Management program.
Kelliher was named to the 2019 Notable Women in Education list by Crain’s Detroit Business and as one of the Most Powerful Business Leaders in Metro Detroit in Education by DBusiness’ Detroit 500. She was an Honored Guest at the 2019 Inforum Inner Circle. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities, the Board of the Detroit Economic Club, the Army-Southeast Michigan Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Macomb
Thank you to the host Willis Towers Watson:
Congratulations Executive Leadership Graduates!
You have joined the ranks of over 1,000 talented women executives who took the important step of asking how they could become even more effective and dynamic leaders.
It's a bold step, really. Developing a strong self-awareness takes humility to ask the right questions - and courage to act based on what you learn.
We've heard from Executive Leadership graduates like yourself that they would like to continue to invest in themselves, keep learning and stay in contact with other graduates. In response, Inforum has formed an Executive Leadership Alumnae Affinity Group.
Attend to connect with Executive Leadership graduates and participate in continued strategic connections and leadership development dialogue.
