Detroit Public Library Tour
The Detroit Public Library docents will share with you the history, art and architecture of Detroit's acclaimed Main Library. You will discover the Grand Staircase, the Pewabic fireplace, and other surprises along your 1 mile walking journey. The library prefers we meet at the Cass Entrance (handicap parking is available at that entrance). There is a Wayne State lot on Putnam-open to the public and it's closer than parking behind the DIA. The Library tends to get hot, and with 1 mile walk where comfortable shoes!
Please note: There will be 2 docent groups of 10-12 people, so please be sure to register early if you would like to attend before it's sold out!
