As the Founder and CEO for Hire For Hope, Ashley Ward has an extensive background in sales and executive recruiting, with a passion for learning about what drives and motivates others. This passion holds true, having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and graduate courses in Counseling. She is an empathetic leader with a deep understanding of leadership and team development. Aside from running the organization and guiding companies in their talent optimization efforts, Ashley serves on the Board of Directors for Safe Haven Ministries, the domestic violence agency that changed her own life. As a Grand Rapids-native, community is a huge passion of hers, and she also serves on the Mayor’s Millennial Advisory Board and Board of Directors for the Entrepreneurial Organization Senate.

Hire For Hope was established with a rebellious spirit and ambitious objective: to tie together business and philanthropy.

Hire For Hope is relentless to better the lives of their clients, candidates, and their communities – hoping to inspire others to do the same. Defining what it means to put people first.

Hire For Hope is not your typical recruiting firm. Great business is the goal, but giving back to the community is their mission. Hire For Hope sponsors a domestic violence agency (Safe Haven Ministries) to help them provide shelter, educational tools, and services to thousands of women and children in need. TEN PERCENT of Hire For Hope’s profit is gifted to help these women and children escape domestic violence and rebuild their lives. Every day ONE out of SIX women are unable to obtain services for domestic violence due to the lack of funding at shelters and agencies. Together, Hire For Hope believes – WE can make a significant difference and make sure that every woman feels safe.
