Join us for a panel discussion about how board service can enhance the community and your career and how decisions about placement on for-profit and nonprofit boards are made. 

Panelists:

Laura Byars  is vice president of human performance for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Laura is responsible for overseeing Human Performance which includes enterprise-wide training and development functions, talent management and organizational development. Laura has extensive experience in creating corporate strategies for talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development for organizations of all sizes. Marti Lolli is chief marketing officer and senior vice president of consumer and government markets at Priority Health, a nationally recognized health plan. She oversees the individual market, Medicare advantage and Medicaid markets, and market intelligence. She also oversees all marketing, digital strategy, communications and customer experience at Priority Health. Marti currently sits on the board for Lakeshore Junior Achievement Organization, Goodwill Industries, Business School Dean's Adivsory Board at GVSU, and Michigan Chamber of Commerce.To read more about Marti click here.

Blaire Miller is partner and co-owner of The Hunter Group. Blaire brings 35 years of starting and acquiring successful operations in global finance/accounting, alternative energy and executive recruiting. She is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with a history of identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to expand business and drive revenue and profit growth. Blaire currently serves in leadership positions on several business boards and associations including Financial Executives International, Women Presidents Organization, British-American Business Council, Inforum, Vistage Michigan among others.
