Description
Finance is not just one profession and career paths are not always linear. Join us at Inforum’s inaugural FinanceNEXT event where a panel of accomplished women will discuss the myriad possibilities of careers in finance – and how you can work toward them.
FinanceNEXT is a networking and learning group for those who work in or with an interest in business-to-business finance, such as accounting, private equity/venture capital, internal corporate finance, or banking.

Stephanie Amaimo
Vice president of investor relations, Fortis
Stephanie joined Fortis Inc. in 2016. Previously, she worked at ITC Holdings Corp. for more than 10 years where she held various roles in investor relations, treasury, and financial planning and analysis. Stephanie was the director of investor relations at the time of the Fortis acquisition of ITC.
Laura Marcero
Managing director, Huron Consulting Group
Laura has more than 20 years of experience in complex general business matters, restructuring, transformational efforts and M&A transactions in a variety of industries, including institutions undergoing dramatic change. Her insights about the automotive supplier community served as a basis for requests to the U.S. government for funding to the supplier community in 2009.
Tamika Mayes
Senior Manager, Operational Excellence Leader
General Motors Co.
Tamika is an accountant and attorney whose career at GM includes six years in the GM tax staff. In 2016, she was selected by GM leadership as one of ten employees to join GM’s Operational Excellence function as part of a two-year leadership excellence acceleration program. Peggy Scheske
Vice president and CAO, Auto Club Group
Peggy develops, implements, and coordinates policies and processes regarding ACG's accounting, financial reporting, and tax matters. Among other accomplishments, she was integral to ACG's acquisition of Meemic and Fremont insurance companies and the integration of Auto Club South. Peggy made Crain’s list of 2018 Notable Women in Finance.

Gretchen Holloway is a senior financial executive who has held a broad set of financial roles at energy companies. At ITC, Gretchen has played key roles under various ownership structures. She was significantly involved in ITC’s IPO and subsequent sale to Fortis Inc. Gretchen also held various financial roles at CMS Energy and started her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen.
