Description

We have the excellent opportunity to learn about the realities around sex trafficking. Our speakers, Honorable Charlie Pope and Barbara McQuade, will share information with us on the topic as well as answer questions you may have.

Barbara L. McQuade is the former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is currently a professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School and a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.

Judge Charles Pope was elected Judge of the 14-B District Court in 2008 and re-elected in 2014, after serving 24 years as the Magistrate and Court Administrator of the 14-B District Court. Judge Pope currently presides over a Drug Court and Domestic Violence specialty docket.

With the season of thankfulness and giving, we have also arranged for donations to be collected for SAFEHouse. Be sure to learn more about this organization, if you are not familiar, as it has a powerful impact on our community. All donation is 100% voluntary.

We will be meeting from 8:00-9:30am on Wednesday, 6 November 2019, at United Way of Washtenaw County (2305 Platt Rd; Ann Arbor, MI 48104).

Live or work in the Ann Arbor area? Join the A2Affinity Group to make strategic and intentional connections, get inspired and build professional relationships. The A2Affinity Group Members meet on the FIRST Wednesday of the month.
