Topic: How to Introduce Yourself with Power and Pizazz
Speaker: Barbara Boldt
Description: I will briefly go over the key elements of making a concise, powerful introduction in a networking context, with an emphasis on voice and non-verbal behavior. I will do this early in the meeting and then we will have everyone practice!
BARBARA A. BOLDT, M.A. is an international facilitator and executive coach specializing in global communication skills. Barbara, an American national, lived and worked in Europe for 19 years, 11 in Italy and eight in Switzerland. She repatriated to Michigan USA in November 2012.
Barbara has coached hundreds of global managers to present effectively in English, enabling them to understand the cultural differences in communication style that impact their ability to be clear and succinct in English. Using an interactive, skills-based, results-oriented methodology, Barbara helps her clients improve their ability to get their ideas noticed and obtain the business results they need. Barbara’s gift is understanding what people want to say and helping them say it in a way that stays true to who they are.
The Novi Affinity Group Members meet at 8 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at Walsh College - Novi Campus, 41500 Gardenbrook Drive Novi, for networking with other Inforum members, who are interested in establishing and building professional relationships.
